We have over 20 million free images available for the public benefit. I have been transferring images from the USC digital library, which holds some collections of scans supported by the Huntington Library and Art Gallery. I would complete uploads for pre-1923 material published in the USA which is therefore public domain, including scans of the Los Angeles Star (1851-1864) [1] and El Clamor Publico [2]. The images would retain all available catalogue metadata and be marked under a standard Wikimedia Commons public domain US pre-1923 licence and can have a credit and/or website link back to the Huntington Library as well as the direct link to the source USC webpage. You can see a past example upload at [3].
