Sufi Obaidur Rahmaan

Sufi of Barabanki, Uttar pradesh India. Founded 18 madarsa in Barabanki city and its outskirt. He was born in 1931.His father is late Ghulam Dastgeer. He was born in kandhaipur, Rasauli Barabanki. His ustad is Hafiz Niyamat Ali who belongs to Sursunda.Initially he studied at home(Madarsa maqbulia Baqaul Uloom) for his primary education. He completed his higher education (Hikmet study) under professor Hakim Muhammad Shariful Hasan. Sufi Obaid got the Hikmat registration done in 1954. He formed Tanzeemul Madaris for religious education in 1951. The general secretary of this Madaris is Hakim Muhammad Shariful Hasan. After surveying Barabanki, Sufi Obaid ur Rahman found that there are only 18 Makadib, and running them was a difficult task.
