The map that illustrates the Tibetan Empire is so misleading that there has never been a case for Tibet's Kings or Dalai Lama controling the majority of Today's Yunnan province and Xinjiang. The Uigher ethnic group has not even come into being then, according to the Chinese history book written by offcials in those dynasties.
