Hi, this is ed gee. i just created a wiki entry called Rotoki "Babe" Kite! it a page devoted to my favorite kite in the world, and probably one of the rarest! it was manufactured in Michigan, created by a man named Stanley Albertson. I never met the man, but i have been looking for one of his kites ever since i saw my first back in 1966-67ish. I finally found one, 40 some years later! Not only did I get the kite, but it came in the original box, with the original winder, instructions and an envelope that would allow me to order another. I saw one flying when i was a kid, probably 6 or 7 yrs old, I'll never forget that day, i was a young kite fanatic, very young, and i saw a man flying this strange pink spool, i sat amazed and amused. For a while I though "maybe it was a dream", i could never find any information on it, didn't even know what it was called, I later found out that they only marketed this kite for a few months, back in 1966, poor sales or profits led to the early demise of this incredible little miracle of flight. So there ya have it, my story, and this Wiki is devoted to you Stanley Albertson, thank you for the stuff dreams are made of!
