Kenneth Styner is a survivor of the plane crash that inspired Advanced Trauma Life Support. He specializes in education and especially in educational technology and distance or e-learning. He received his Master's degree in teaching from Brown University and a Master's in Educational Technology at California State University - Fullerton. Other areas he has studied include Computer Science, Molecular Environmental Toxicology, Marine Biology, and Astrobiology. Kenneth Styner enjoys running marathons, hiking, poetry, and brain games. He currently lives in Oakland, California.
