ABOUT THE ARTIST: Yannis began drawing a fiddling with watercolors & Oil paintings in 1991, but his world changed when he saw some spray paint space art being done in the Greek Islands five years later. He decided to try it himself and hasn't stopped yet. In the summer, you can find him painting on the Greek Island of Paros and he also works in Athens. I have worked with this tecnique (SPRAY) since 1996. I use acrylic or synthetic Spray Paint on POSTER BOARD, STRETCHED CANVAS, PLASTIC, PLEXIGLAS and OTHER MATERIAL. Because of the material (Spray Cans) the Picture dries less than 8 - 10 minutes. For this reason the Artist has to accomplish the Painting energetically and very fast.

L'ARTISTA :
Yannis ha iniziato disegnando un giocherellare con acquerelli e dipinti ad olio nel 1991, ma il suo mondo è cambiato quando ha visto la vernicespray art spazio viene fatto nelle isole greche cinque anni dopo. Ha deciso di provare se stesso e non ha smesso ancora. In estate, lo puoitrovare pittura sull'isola greca di Paros e lavora anche ad Atene.

ΣΧΕΤΙΚΆ ΜΕ ΤΟΝ ΚΑΛΛΙΤΈΧΝΗ:
Ο Γιάννης άρχισε την ζωγραφική το 1991. Ξεκίνησε να ζωγραφίζει Ακουαρέλες και ελαιογραφίες, αλλά όταν είδε στης διακοπές του στα ελληνικά νησιά την τεχνική του Spray, (Spray paint art) από άλλους καλλιτέχνες, εντυπωσιάστηκε τόσο πολύ ώστε πέντε χρόνια αργότερα, το 1996 αφιερώθηκε σε αυτήν την δημιουργική τεχνική! Τον Γιάννη τους καλοκαιρινούς μήνες, θα τον βρείτε να ζωγραφίζει στο ελληνικό νησί της Πάρου, επίσης και στην Αθήνα όπου ζει και εργάζεται.
