Annotations - seeking to use wikimedia commons as a source of labelled data for image-recognition?
linking into wikipedia itself seems like a nice way to do this, i.e. guiding the labels themselves (as well as highlighting potential images for illustration)
it would be nice to enhance the annotation tools here to make it more useful for this.
