I'm from Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. I'm an amateur photographer looking to progress further and learn more about photography and make the majority of my pictures available on the Commons for public use. My current camera is the Samsung S860. It's not great but it's good for beginners. I've also had a Sony Cybershot and an Easyshare camera in the past. To the right is the first picture I've uploaded to the Commons - a seagull, taken while whale-watching. It's not a whale, but it's something. ;)
