Penda Emmanuel

Penda Emmanuel (born 13 December 1999) is a Cameroonian young multidisciplinary artist, fashion designer, photographer, student teacher, and author. Born in Yaounde, Cameroon. Penda went to Bamenda[[1]] to further his studies in the University of Bamenda department of Mathematics[[2]].

In 2016, Emmanuel creates his first Facebook page (No1__relookeurs_[[3]]) with the goal of showcasing upcoming artist styles and pictures, since he’s a lover of art and fashion.

In April 2019, Penda posted a series of photographs to Instagram and Facebook showing himself with Magasco[[4]] (Director of Bboy records), Nleme Yann, and Mackenzy official, Benafleck Dinho, Olomo Theo, it was a music video project (Calypso in featuring with Mihney). He was invited and paid by NS Pictures (Video Director) to participate in the project with his friends. Later that year Penda uploaded a series of photographs with Locko[[5]], Christian Siakam, Benjamin Anaba another music video project (Katana) invited by NS Pictures As the result of the events, writings (2023) gained more traction in a place where a great majority of the people don’t read (Africa[[6]]). And his initially self-published collection of poems (SPACE) printed by faculty print in Bamenda and published by Afoup SARL[7], to widespread commercial success. Emmanuel’s work is simplistic in language. His childhood and personal life serve as sources of inspiration.
