Hi there! My name is Tadeáš Bednarz, I'm 18 and I come from Czechia. I started uploading images to Commons in 2017, in my 14. As I've written some articles to Czech Wikipedia that time, I also wanted to illustrate them with my images. That's how I met Wikimedia Commons and the "serious photography" as well.

In 2018, I noticed that there's something called Quality Images and I really fell into it very quickly. My first nominations were (not surprisingly) declined. Nevertheless, my desire for getting a QI was so huge that I managed to buy my first DSLR (Canon 450D) and the quality of my contributions increased rapidly (IMHO at least ). This led to me buying an FF (Canon 5D Mk. II) in the Autumn of 2018.

In September 2018, I started photographing association football matches and got my first contract for the regional newspaper. Since this, I've been focused mainly on sports photography in my portfolio and found out that I love the action photography the most. At the beginning of 2019, I became the youngest member of the Czech Club of Professional Sports Journalists (KSN) which is a part of AIPS (I was 16 that time) and I've got my own press card.

Last months, I go to lots of events to shoot and I try to upload as much photos to Commons as possible. I took some events with an photo-acreditation granted to me as a wikimedian photographer as well and I'm trying to communicate with press offices through Czechia to get them aware of the fact that something called "Wikimedia" or "Commons" at least exist.
