Iftekhar Rahman - Assistant Professor of BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) has several years working experience in Bangladeshi Readymade Garments Industry. He also worked as a designer in a Walt Disney Licensed Clothing company in UK. He completed MSc International Fashion Retailing Degree with distinction from the University of Manchester. His achievement includes Prestigious Equity & Merit scholarship and IFFTI Faculty Exchange mobility Initiatives to study and knowledge exchange program in UK.

From his graduation days, he is actively working for the development of the clothing industry of Bangladesh. He hasrepresented BUFT in National Performance Cluster (NPC)program with the joint venture of UNIDO and World first Eco-design Conference in Conghua, China.  

He believes, by creating a transparent supply chain and ensuring that workers & producers are getting enough patronage and care, a vast positive change can be done to the fashion world.
