Tierra de Pardos

Natalia Aguilar (User:Tierra de Pardos) is a photographer from Cartago, Costa Rica. She is also a participant and contributor to the #VisibleWikiWomen campaign during RightsCon 2023.

#VisibleWikiWomen is an annual campaign to make all women, especially black, brown, indigenous and trans women, visible on Wikipedia and the broader internet. This global campaign, led by Whose Knowledge?, brings together Wikimedians, photographers, feminist organizations and cultural institutions in an effort to reduce the gender gap on Wikipedia, and address imbalances of gender representation in online imagery.

We want to bring #VisibleWikiWomen to #RightsCon 2023 in order to document women's participation, and make the faces of women and non-binary digital rights defenders, experts and leaders visible on Wikipedia.
