About meEdit
Hello, my name is Tobias and like my username already reveals I am born in the year 1987. I am from Germany, exactly from the most western city, Aachen, which is famous for its cathedrale. Since October 2008, I am studying at the German Sport University Cologne.
In addition to my preference for sport I am a hobby photographer and I prefer to take pictures of beautiful landscapes, especially panoramics. Thus, I enjoy travelling around the world to experience unique natural attractions such as the National Parks of Western USA and Canada or interesting places in Europe. I am looking forward to sharing my photos with all users of WikiCommons ;)
In March 2008, I spent two unforgettable weeks on "La Digue", the fourth largest island of the Seychelles. It was paradisiac because this island is in a natural state. Half of the beaches are only accessible on foot and that's why there are many solitary beaches. Above all, the landscape is unique like my photos show;) My favourite place on La Digue is a view point at the Pointe Belize wherefrom you can enyoy this panoramic view: stunning and brilliant!
I started my "career" with a Nikon Coolpix P5000, but in spring 2009 I decided to upgrade my foto equipment by buying a Nikon D90. After having bought a new Nikon D600 in November 2012 and suffered from considerable problems with dust, I swapped it to a Nikon D610 in May 2014. After five years of DSLR, I call these lenses my own:
1.) AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-85 mm 1:3,5 - 5,6G ED VR (since April 2009) 2.) AF-S VR Zoom-NIKKOR 70-300 mm 1:4,5-5,6G (since April 2009) 3.) Sigma 50-500 mm F4,5-6,3 DG OS HSM (since April 2012) 4.) AF-S NIKKOR 24–120 mm 1:4G ED VR (since January 2013) 5.) AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105 mm 1:2,8G IF-ED (since July 2014)
