Wagons-Lits Diffusion was created in 1996 by Compagnie des Wagons-Lits (CIWLT) with the mission of controlling the historical brands and intellectual property rights derived from CIWL past activities (logos, brands, historical archives), as well as maintaining the CIWL Photo Archives database. Wagons-Lits Diffusion also manages the rights of PLM company, an ancient tourism and railway company, still famous today for its unique collection of vintage touristic posters.

Based in Paris, we dispose of a database of more than 20 000 CIWL archives photos in digital format, and more than 1 000 advertising posters of CIWL and PLM, partly accessible on-line on this website.

Here are a few of our Archives digital photos from CIWL historical Archives. We are planning to add more photos as we receive more demands.

All photos are digitalized from original paper documents kept in our historical archives.
