THanks for Siberian chipmunk picture. I saw one the other day and this helped to identify.
Hello, I was looking at the above photograph, and noticed that you wanted help with identification of the bird. I've been looking through my book, and I think it's a young shelduck. The beak, neck markings and green patch on the body all fit, and they breed in the area. I hope this helps. Mehmet Karatay 12:31, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
