For all images on WikiCommons, copyright owner must allow commercial use by anybody. If not, the image will have to be deleted. See Commons:Criteria for inclusion. Thuresson 20:08, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

You changed the license stating that the painting is from a certain point in time. I do agree that the image is most probably a photograph of a painting which is old enough. If you can add information to make that certain, I'd really appreciate that. Siebrand 08:59, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
I've deleted the category; as I think it would have been speediable (if you had used {{Speedydelete}}). It looks like you managed to get the deletion request correct though, all you needed to do was edit the log file.--Nilfanion 23:48, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
