Hi - thanks for contributin to the commons. Please be very careful with screenshots - upload them only if you are sure that all components shown in the screenshot are under a free license, and mark them as {{free screenshot}} if this applies. I have makred Image:Msfweb.png as a copyright violation for now, because it is unclear what the license of the logo/artwork at the top of the pages is. Also, the windows and mac logos shown on the page (although very small) are not free. Firefox is free software, so that's fine, and the rest of the page is trivial and thus PD. Hi again - about Image:Knoppix 4.0 de.png: it's probably OK, but it is missing proper information about the license and authors. Most things on the page are probably GPL (but how about the wallpaper?), which requires attribution of the authors... at least a link to the homepage of the individual programs would be required. The creators of the artwork shown, especially the wallpaper, but also the icons, should be mentioned explicitely, along with the license those graphics are under. -- Duesentrieb 26 June 2005 13:11 (UTC)

I could not find any information about the map's license.. so i thought it would be ok to upload the screenshot.

If you want to have this kept, you need to trim off the top part with Google logo and such. Otherwise, it will be deleted quickly. Thuresson 7 July 2005 13:29 (UTC)
