Dear Habarithor,

The real duration of undergraduate careers in Chile last 6 years. There is a new edition on the article; please refer to Six years. It would be appreciated if you can edit the color of the country into a new one, referring to six years.

Thank you.

Dear anonymous: http://www.quimicaybiologia.usach.cl/programas/carreras-de-pregrado according to the information of santiagos university webpage, bachelor`s (IE: pregrado), in natural science degrees, are 5 years in chile.

Dear Habarithor,

I totally understand what you are pointing. I'm going to have to object though, please look at this link: http://www.mifuturo.cl/index.php/futuro-laboral/buscador-por-carrera-d-institucion?tecnico=false&cmbtipos=0&cmbinstituciones=71&cmbcarreras=0&start=40

MiFuturo.cl is a government website that gathers information from all graduates in universities. As you can see, the "Duracion real" (real duration) of a undergraduate major is NOT the same as the one stated on the university's website. Mifuturo is a website that aroused because the disceprancy that exists between what universities say and do. That being said, engineers majors in Chile DO last 6 years, and the real duration may extend up to 10 years. Please, look http://www.uchile.cl/carreras/4973/ingenieria-civil-industrial and http://www.admision.usach.cl/carreras/ingenieria-civil-en-informatica

I'm originally from Chile and attended both Chilean and U.S universities and I I know! it sounds extremely insane, but if you take a look and read the [2011–13 Chilean student protests] article, you'll see why this is a big issue over there.

I hope my arguments to be taken seriously.

Have a wonderful day and I do appreciate your work.
