Hi - thanks for contributing to the commons. I noticed Image:C-1.jpg you uploaded - you labeled that image as PD, however I can't see how that could be so... most logos ar copyrighted. When tagging an images as PD, please provide information about why that image is in the public domain (i.e. explicitely released by the author, age, work of the us government, etc). Also, please not that the commons do not allow images under the fair use clause, becausthta is only applicable in the united states. Thanks -- Duesentrieb 20:17, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Ok, I deleted that image as you requested. However, please keep in mind that screenshots are not original work: screenshots are not accepted by the commons unless the work shown (program, tv-show, game, etc) is under a free license. A screenshot from a TV-show is most likey copyrighted and is therefore not allowed on the commons. -- Duesentrieb 21:39, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Missing information edit

Reviewing the images you have uploaded, I noticed that many of them are lacking a source. Although you claim that they are in the public domain, you need to add where you found the images (eg. the URL or web site). This is necessary so that others can be certain that they indeed are free.

Sanbec 07:31, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Image:Real Oviedo badge.png edit

You claim that this image is licensed under the "Free Art License". Oddly enough, I can't find any mention of this license at the hqfl.dk web site. Also, if I'm not mistaken, this image has been deleted before simply because the logo is not in the public domain. Please explain as quickly as possible. Thuresson 08:00, 22 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

I have put the soccer logos up for deletion, because the design is copyrighted either by the individual clubs or the designer that did the original logo. Note that the images on HQFL can not be used freele, see the deletion request for an explanation. -- Duesentrieb 10:20, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
