Help with unidentified plant edit

Hello Jeantosti! Could you, please, help me with the identification of Image:Halimium commutatum.jpg. Definitely it is no Cistaceae. I think it is Chenopodium ambrosioides, but I would like to hear a second opinion. Probably you know this species better than I do. Regards. --Franz Xaver 09:26, 26 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hello Jeantosti! That's my problem. There is no additional information on this plant. The photo is not my own. It was taken in Southern Portugal by User:Lumbar from Germany.
There are some vesicular or glandular hairs on stem, leaves, and flowers. This would not be the case in Beta vulgaris. However, in Chenopodium such hairs are found. I hoped you know this plant, as most of your photos are from Mediterranean part of France. And Chenopodium ambrosioides can also be found there.
No problem. I will move the photo to plants misidentified. Anyway, Category:Cistaceae is not the right place for it. Regards. --Franz Xaver 07:42, 27 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

Tragopogon edit

Hello Jeantosti! Yesterday I came across your photo Image:Salsifis.jpg which has been uploaded at Commons from fr.wikipedia by User:TeunSpaans. I am not sure about the correct identity of this plant. It might be Tragopogon dubius: There is a stem of Tragopogon in the background where one could see that the peduncle is inflated. Moreover, the very dark antheres and the extremely long involucral bracts better fit to Tragopogon dubius. Is it possible for you to check the identity of these plants?
Probably you will compare images in other wikipedias: In es:Tragopogon pratensis most photos actually seem to be Tragopogon dubius because of the strongly inflated peduncles, whereas the images in nl:Tragopogon pratensis in my opinion show true Tragopogon pratensis. Best wishes --Franz Xaver 07:21, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Image:Wisteria1.jpg edit

Hello! You had name this photo Wisteria sinensis. As far as I see, this actually is Wisteria floribunda: The inflorescence quite long - certainly longer than 20 cm - and the flowers are blooming successively from base to top, not simultaneousely all over the raceme.
