COM:BN and COM:AN/U discussions on your "inactivity" and proposed de-adminshipEdit
Following a short discussion at Commons:Bureaucrats' noticeboard#User:Kanonkas I have started a wider community discussion at Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/User problems#User:Kanonkas not active. This proposes that you aren't sufficiently active in the community or as an administrator to keep your roles as admin and 'crat. Per Commons:Administrators/De-adminship I am informing you that you are at risk of losing those privileges. -- Colin (talk) 15:38, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
- Dear Kanonkas. Following the above mentioned discussion I have opened Commons:Bureaucrats/Requests/Kanonkas (de-bureaucrat) today. Thank you. --Krd 11:56, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
Hi Kanonkas, it is with great sadness that I closed this de-bureeaucrat and de-admin process. I remember well your active years at Commons and your dedication to this project which helped tremendously in its early years. I am sure that all would be more than happy to see you returning and getting active again. All the best, AFBorchert (talk) 15:10, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Kanonkas, your 'crat and admin bit were now removed by Jyothis who thanked you for your service. I likewise would like to thank you for all the good administrative work you did at Commons. Whenever you should become active again, do not hesitate to reconsider a new adminship. We had numerous cases in the past where admins gave up their bits, were inactive, and had no problem of regaining adminship after a short period of activity to get familiar with the project again. Steinsplitter was already so kind to set the autopatroller bit. Let us know when you need one of the other bits. Best wishes, AFBorchert (talk) 18:24, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
