Images with missing information

The following images have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests. Most of these images only have a license but do not have a verifiable source. Some images are claimed to come from militaryimages.net where members can upload images whose copyright they own. The terms for the web site clearly states [1]:

WARNING : We take copyright theft very seriously and includes the theft of copyright images from this site, if you find that your own personal images are appearing on other websites without your permission please inform the webmaster. If the webmaster receives requests from other sites regarding images you have uploaded, they will be told to ask you personally via the discussion board or private message.

The copyright of your images is not transferred to MilitaryImages.Net, it remains 100% yours.

You need to add more information so that others can verify that the images indeed are public domain, e.g. name of photographer, name of web site or anything else that will help others identify the copyright owner. Scanned images

You said on Thuresson's talk page that several of the images above are scans from military magazins "Żołnierz Polski", "Polska Zbrojna", "Wojskowy Przegląd Techniczny" from years 1984-92 - thus, those magazines (or the respective photographers) hold the copyright to those images, they are not under a free license and will have to be deleted. If you reproduce someone elses work, you can not publish it without the permission of the original author. This is called "copyright"... -- Duesentrieb 11:08, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The lack of a clear copyright notice does not mean that the work is without copyright - it is in fact the other way around, a copyright notice means that the work is copyrighted. It is fully possible that the photo was published somewhere else with copyright notice. See Template talk:PD-Polish. Thuresson 15:41, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

You claim that this photo comes from the US federal government but have not included any source to substantiate this. Please explain why this photo is issued by the US government. Photos with false or incomplete information may be deleted. Thuresson 13:07, 26 July 2005 (UTC)

Zdjęcia PD na stronach z ©

No cóż... Jeżeli jesteś pewien na 100%, że dane zdjęcie jest PD, to możesz zignorować copyright - jednak najlepiej byłoby, gdybyś znalazł oryginalne źródło danego zdjęcia jako PD. Ciężko czasem udowodnić, że jakaś firma, czy instytucja nie stworzyła danego zdjęcia, a jedynie je wykorzystała ze źródła PD. Datrio 09:17, 15 August 2005 (UTC)

Heh... Ciężko mi powiedzieć. Najlepiej rzuć ten temat albo na Commons:Village pump, albo na jej polski odpowiednik, niech więcej osób się wypowie. Nie jestem aż tak doświadczony w prawie autorskim. Pozdrawiam, Datrio 09:34, 15 August 2005 (UTC)

To proszę nie rób tego. Wygodniej się operuje kategoriami, zwłaszcza odkąd jest commonist. A im więcej otagowanych zdjęć, tym lepiej. W końcu commons jest dla grafik, nie dla galerii. Halibutt 06:15, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Chodzi o wymagania do Quality Images. Jeśli jesteś tym zainteresowany, to możesz wypowiedzieć się w dyskusji: Commons talk:Quality images candidates#Modification of guidelines. Pko 19:33, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Mi też kiedyś wydawało się, że strony są lepsze od kategorii, ale teraz nie widzę specjalnej różnicy, jeśli kategorie są odpowiednio szczegółowe. Kategorie są o tyle wygodne, że można je dodać od razy przy wysyłaniu zdjęcia i w zasadzie nie trzeba się o nie dalej martwić. Jedyne z czym walczę, to dodawanie zdjęć do kilku kategorii, z których każda jest podkategorią następnej. (Tak, jakby ktoś na przykład dodał to samo zdjęcie do kategorii Waeapons, Firearms i Recoiless rilfes.) Pko 20:22, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Wrongly Identified Images

The images:

were wrongly identified and are under the article Merops persicus. I have uploaded new Images with correct names and have marked the above ones for speedy deletion can something be done about the article so that the above images can be deleted?

The images that I have uploaded with correct names are:

And these may be put under an appropriate article
