Gimp is GIMP, can I help

edit

Hi, recently I saw that you recategorized my screenshot. Thank you. I will remember that in the future.

While looking at Category:Linux software I noticed that GIMP stuff is spelled with the lowercase Gimp. It is an acronym and should be GIMP. Also, for gimp-2.4 they have officially dropped the "The" from the title. I was wondering if it could be changed and I would like to volunteer to help to change it. Thanks! -- carol 10:00, 3 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image speedies

edit

I see you have been tagging a large number of images this evening, with incorrectly-placed speedy deletion tags. Please reconsider your actions. Stating "derived from the Windows API" is very vague and pedantic. What are we talking here; the _ [] and X buttons? Absurdity. -- Gary Kirk 23:47, 22 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please stop tagging so many images with speedy delete.

You are in fact tagging many images that do not show any part of Windows. You have tagged images that show OpenOffice running on Linux and screenshots of AWB that don't show any part of Windows. Perhaps you should take more time to look at the images before you tag them with speedy delete I added another comment because I thought it would get your attention. -- Gudeldar 05:02, 23 December 2007 (UTC) Reply
