Speyeria picturesEdit

Hi Wsiegmund, I noticed this edit on en:wiki, in which an unregistered user removed your pictures File:Speyeria coronis 3313.JPG and File:Speyeria coronis 3304.JPG from the Speyeria coronis page, with the edit summary "Picture was clearly Speyeria mormonia". I am not an expert with these species, but it looks to me like they are probably right (comparing the hindwing patterns with this page and that one). What do you think? --LamBoet (talk) 04:59, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

Hi LamBoet; Thank you for your note. I will investigate. Walter Siegmund (talk) 05:17, 1 February 2020 (UTC)

Another SpeyeriaEdit

Hi Wsiegmund, I just came across this other picture, which you labelled as Boloria chariclea. Given the markings of the basal area, it appears to be a Speyeria, and I think it's most probably a Speyeria mormonia washingtonia. Best --LamBoet (talk) 01:22, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

Hi Wsiegmund, FYI I just made the correction for this one too. --LamBoet (talk) 08:25, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
Hi LamBoet, good work. Thank you for correcting that assignment. Walter Siegmund (talk) 14:33, 30 May 2020 (UTC)

File:Icaricia icarioides 0542.JPGEdit

Hi Wsiegmund, I think this butterfly is Satyrium semiluna :-) Kind regards --LamBoet (talk) 06:36, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

Lysichiton americanus 9054Edit

Hello Wsiegmund, I would like to use your photo Lysichiton americanus 9054.jpg in a scientific paper that describes a fossilized aroid spadix (Paleocene age). I hope this is okay. I will attribute the photo to you as described at Wikimedia commons: Walter Siegmund / CC BY-SA (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0). Georgialh (talk) 22:56, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

That is okay. Please post the citation for your paper when you have it. You may place {{Published}} at File talk:Lysichiton americanus 9054.JPG or simply add it in plain text below. I look forward to seeing your fascinating paper. Thank you for your interest. Walter Siegmund (talk) 04:40, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
