Be a Wikimedia fundraising "User Experience" volunteer!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered last year on the Wikimedia fundraising 'User Experience' project. We have talked to many different people in different countries and their feedback has helped us immensely in restructuring our pages. If you haven't heard of it yet, the 'User Experience' project has the goal of understanding the donation experience in different countries (outside the USA) and enhancing the localization of our donation pages.

I am (still) searching for volunteers to spend some time on a Skype chat with me, reviewing their own country's donation pages. It will be done on a 'usability' format (I will ask you to read the text and go through the donation flow) and will be asking your feedback in the meanwhile.

The only pre-requisite is for the volunteer to actually live in the country and to have access to at least one donation method that we offer for that country (mainly credit/debit card, but also real time banking like IDEAL, E-wallets, etc...) so we can do a live test and see if the donation goes through. **All volunteers will be reimbursed of the donations that eventually succeed (and they will be very low amounts, like 1-2 dollars)**

Encara que aquesta pàgina no és gaire activa cal recordar vigilar-la per poder respondre raonablement. Wikimedia sites to move to primary data center in Ashburn, Virginia. Read-only mode expected.

(Apologies if this message isn't in your language.) Next week, the Wikimedia Foundation will transition its main technical operations to a new data center in Ashburn, Virginia, USA. This is intended to improve the technical performance and reliability of all Wikimedia sites, including this wiki. There will be some times when the site will be in read-only mode, and there may be full outages; the current target windows for the migration are January 22nd, 23rd and 24th, 2013, from 17:00 to 01:00 UTC (see other timezones on timeanddate.com). More information is available in the full announcement.

If you would like to stay informed of future technical upgrades, consider becoming a Tech ambassador and joining the ambassadors mailing list. You will be able to help your fellow Wikimedians have a voice in technical discussions and be notified of important decisions.

Petició de Grant, consolidar wikiArS per involucrar les escoles d'art

Hola tothom, us informo que he demanat una IEG (subvencions personals per projectes que beneficien el moviment Wikimedia) a la Fundació Wikimedia per poder donar una empenta a la iniciativa wikiArS (vegeu en català) durant els propers mesos, entre primavera i tardor.

Com potser ja sabeu estem col·laborant amb les escoles d'art i disseny perquè els seus estudiants generin imatges que falten a Wikipedia (i publicar-los a Commons) o materials de difusió d'aquesta (i publicar-los a Outreach). Vam començar al curs passat (vegeu Llotja i Serra i Abella) i aquest curs hi ha 7 escoles contactades de les quals 4 ja han iniciat la col·laboració. Amb el Grant podria augmentar el temps que estic dedicant a la coordinació i a donar suport als voluntaris, consolidant el projecte. La idea és també poder produir una exposició itinerant que es renovi cada any i produir alguns materials de suport.

A Commons hi ha moltes fotografies i també moltes imatges antigues al domini públic. Però no tantes il·lustracions didàctiques i infografies alliberades que ajudin a comprendre els continguts de les enciclopèdies. Això és el que intentem proporcionar involucrant a escoles d'art i a assessors científics que els orientin en la creació d'imatges.

Una pregunta...

Hola, realment faig servir poc commons, diguem que poso les fotos que més tard utilitzo per fer edicions sobretot en es.wiki.

Fa uns dies vaig posar una foto d'un dibuix d'en Jack Kirby que vaig treure en una exposició d'una col·lecció privada d'un col·leccionista al saló del còmic de Barcelona. L'usuari Ecemaml, suposo que amb bon criteri, me la va esborrar. Després, més tard, he intentat comunicar-me amb ell[3] i no només no m'ha respost sinó que ha eliminat la meva pregunta/reflexió [4]. Clar, com no tinc molta experiència en commons m'agradaria saber si aquesta és la manera d'actuar aquí. És a dir, si no es poden fer preguntes i si es poden esborrar comentaris a la teva pàgina de discussió.
I finalment si és normal aquest tipus de respostes [5]

No et sé respondre sobre l'esborrat del missatge o el perquè de la resposta que t'ha donat. Però sobre la imatge: un propietari (com el col·leccionista) d'un original o d'una còpia rara d'una obra creativa no és mai el propietari dels drets d'explotació sobre la obra si l'autor o titular de drets no li ha cedit. Atenció: tampoc pot reproduir-la en un catàleg sobre la seva col·lecció sense el permís del titular (molt museus es veuen obligats a pagar a Entitats de Gestió de Drets per aquest concepte). Si ho fa ho fa il·legalment i podria rebre una reclamació. Tot i que és molt possible que tingui un acord genèric amb VEGAP o l'entitat de gestió que correspongui. Hem de suposar que el dibuixant va cedir els drets d'explotació a Marvel (si no ho va fer els drets èren seus i ara dels seus hereus). Si Marvel té els drets els tindrà durant 70 anys després de la mort de Kirby (1994) a Espanya i 95 als EUA. La legislació que afecta Commons és en primer lloc la dels EUA i l'autor també és nord-americà, per tant falta molt perquè entri al Domini Públic, no es pot publicar aquí. Per desgràcia les lleis de propietat intel·lectual posen més d'un segle entre que es crea una obra i que aquesta entra al domini públic. --Dvdgmz (talk) 17:41, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

Convert complex templates to Lua to make them faster and more powerful

Qui ha fet una obra d'art és qui té el dret de reproduir-la. Hi ha excepcions, però són força limitades. Es pot discutir si alguns trofeus no són obres d'art, si els drets d'autor d'alguns ja han expirat, si alguna està coberta per Commons:Freedom of panorama, o alguna excepció més, però la resposta és que la majoria de trofeus no es poden fotografiar. Més ben ben dit, es poden fotografiar, però no pots publicar la foto sense permís de l'autor del trofeu.--Pere prlpz (talk) 11:50, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

There is a new request for comment on Meta-Wiki concerning the removal of administrative rights from long-term inactive Wikimedians. Generally, this proposal from stewards would apply to wikis without an administrators' review process.

We are also compiling a list of projects with procedures for removing inactive administrators on the talk page of the request for comment. Feel free to add your project(s) to the list if you have a policy on administrator inactivity.

All input is appreciated. The discussion may close as soon as 21 May 2013 (2013-05-21), but this will be extended if needed.

The default position of the "edit" link in page section headers is going to change soon. The "edit" link will be positioned adjacent to the page header text rather than floating opposite it.

Section edit links will be to the immediate right of section titles, instead of on the far right. If you're an editor of one of the wikis which already implemented this change, nothing will substantially change for you; however, scripts and gadgets depending on the previous implementation of section edit links will have to be adjusted to continue working; however, nothing else should break even if they are not updated in time.

Ideas to do this all the way to 2009 at least. It is often difficult to track which of several potential section edit links on the far right is associated with the correct section, and many readers and anonymous or new editors may even be failing to notice section edit links at all, since they read section titles, which are far away from the links.

Hi ha algun sistema fàcil de comprovar que les imatges que es carreguen (amb Commonist, per exemple) no siguin duplicades? Tinc un sarau considerable al disc dur, sobretot pel que fa a controlar quines imatges he carregat a Commons, i em temo que entre les que pugi pel WLPA n'hi pot haver alguna que ja hagi carregat abans. Wiki Loves Public Art

Hola, us anuncio que demà comença Wiki Loves Public Art. Tothom està convidat a participar millorant els nostres articles amb bones fotos d'obres d'art públic! És una oportunitat per descobrir tot el fantàstic art que es troba al voltant i carregar les vostres fotos a Wikimedia Commons. Els participants entren primer en el concurs local on poden guanyar uns bons premis i les millors fotos seleccionades per un jurat participaran també en el concurs internacional. En el concurs internacional es pot guanyar un val de viatge de fins a 500 euros i una impressió en alta qualitat de la foto, patrocinat per Europeana!

En alguns països, el focus del concurs estarà en obres exposades en la via pública, mentre que en d'altres serà en col·leccions de museu d'obres d'art antigues. Una gran barreja! En los països on ens centrem en obres d'art en la via pública, els voluntaris han treballat dur per compilar llistes de les col·leccions d'art ja que no existeixen llistes centralitzades (increïble, no?) Aquest ha estat un treball dur i per tant aquest any estem proposant àrees pilot reduïdes en cada país per provar el concepte. Per saber on podeu fer fotos, feu una ullada al web del vostre país on trobareu més informació.

Hem creat la infraestructura necessària a Wikimedia Commons, amb una sèrie de campanyes de l'Auxiliar de càrrega per facilitar tota la informació necessària de cada obra. Les imatges carregades on poden trobar aquí. Podeu comentar qualsevol pregunta que tingueu.

Definició del pla estratègic d'Amical Wikimedia

Amical Wikimedia, l'organització que treballa per la promoció de la llengua i cultura catalanes dels projectes de Wikimedia, vol treballar en un nou pla estratègic de cara als dos propers anys. Des d'Amical fem una crida per tal que aquest pla sigui elaborat de forma col·laborativa, com s'escau a una organització que treballa segons la filosofia wiki. Per això volem fer una convocatòria pública per recollir idees, suggeriments, queixes o comentaris de tots els editors i lectors dels projectes Wikimedia en català, siguin membres o no de l'associació.

La trobada és oberta a tothom, i pretén que totes les persones que comparteixen una mateixa inquietud es puguen conèixer, compartir els seus projectes i parlar de les seues experiències i del futur dels projectes. Feedback wanted on Commons brochure draft

I've been working on a "Welcome to Commons" brochure, and community feedback was extremely helpful. We now have a draft of the designed version, so please share any thoughts you have on how to make it better. The main target audience is newcomers who are learning about Commons for the first time.

A few things to note:

  • The current title is Illustrating Wikipedia: A Guide to Contributing Content to Wikimedia Commons, but we're open to better suggestions.
  • Neither the design nor the content are final at this point, so if you want to propose significant changes, now is the time.
  • Many minor design and text changes will happen in the next revision, but if you notice anything that needs to be adjusted, please comment.
  • There is simply placeholder content for the section on adding images using the Visual Editor; once screenshots of the interface are stable, that content will be added in.

Es pot pujar fotos d'una enciclopèdia? La fotografia és d'un compositor català mort al 1908. He fet la foto del llibre, perquè fer una foto a la foto original es molt complicat, espero la vostra resposta, gràcies!

Pywikipedia is migrating to git

Hello, Sorry for English but It's very important for bot operators so I hope someone translates this. Pywikipedia is migrating to Git so after July 26, SVN checkouts won't be updated If you're using Pywikipedia you have to switch to git, otherwise you will use out-dated framework and your bot might not work properly. There is a manual for doing that and a blog post explaining about this change in non-technical language. SVG files

I reordered multiple pictures of medicine. So I created new categories called "SVG files on [parent category name]" using an existing model, but later I have noticed that normal is "SVG [parent category name]". Any administrator can rename (with their tools) these categories to "SVG [parent category name]"?. An example is: "Category: SVG files on cardiology" -> "Category: SVG cardiology".

Aquí no hi ha normalment administradors. Si vols ho pots demanar a Commons:Administrators' noticeboard però tampoc és una feina que calgui un administrador. Ho pots fer tu mateix amb la mateixa eina Cat-a-lot que ja utilitzes. Una vegada traslladada una categoria la pots marcar amb {{Category redirect}}. Si no es tracta d'un error, normalment les categories no s'esborren per evitar crear-les de nou. --V.Riullop (talk) 07:52, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

Valencian as a different language from Catalan

Time ago, I created many meta categories in order to group all the categories concerning all the Catalan-speaking territories (Catalonia (northern Catalonia), the Balearic Islands, the Land of Valencia, Andorra, La Franja, the city of l'Alguer and el Carxe).

Recently I discovered that the user User:Valencian was vandalizing my contributions:

I received an answer from User:Alan saying that Valencian is an official language and referring to the Spanish Constitution, the Estatut d'Autonomia de la Comunitat Valenciana (a version previous to the reform in 2006) and a link to Wikivoyages. For the latest 2006 version of the Estatut d'Autonomia de la Comunitat Valenciana, see e.g. article sext.

I have to admit that I was first quite perplex because of this answer, as some basic notions of sociolinguistics are learnt at secondary school. But then I realized that it might not be the case in all places. So I gave some some basic explanations of the status of the Valencian and I also gave some links to articles in the Wikipedia (which can be found in English or Spanish) and the reference to some juridical sentences clarifying the unity of the language.

  • Spanish Constitution, article 3.2 says: Las demás lenguas españolas serán también oficiales en las respectivas Comunidades Autónomas de acuerdo con sus Estatutos.
  • Organic Law 1/2006, of April 10 (Statute of Autonomy of the Valencian Community), article 6.2 says: El idioma valenciano es el oficial en la Comunitat Valenciana, al igual que lo es el castellano, que es el idioma oficial del Estado. Todos tienen derecho a conocerlos y a usarlos y a recibir la enseñanza del, y en, idioma valenciano. and article 6.8 says: L'Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua es la institución normativa del idioma valenciano.

Valencian derived from the Catalan, yes. But the Catalan derives from the Latin. According to your logic, only exists the Latin.

Well, I think this is going to be less easy than I expected. Alan, have you read the Wikipedia articles about en:Catalan language and en:Valencian? I think this is necessary to have some basic knowledge of the topic we are supposed to discuss about. It is always convenient to read the scientific literature about a topic before creating our own opinion. Indeed, I think that if you read these articles, there would not be anything to discuss about, as this issue is very clearly explained there.

  • Catalan is a Romance language named for its origins in the historical region of Catalonia in the northeastern part of Spain and adjoining parts of what is now France. It is the national and only official language of Andorra, a European microstate, and a co-official language of the Spanish autonomous communities of Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, and the Valencian Community, where it is known as Valencian. It also has semi-official status in the city of Alghero (where the Algherese dialect is spoken) on the Italian island of Sardinia. Are you a linguist or do you have some basic notions about linguistics? Do you really think that a new language can be created by law? I think your approach to this issue is completely biased. The scientific study of languages and their evolution is the task of LINGUISTICS and not POLITICS. Do linguists have something to tell about this? Or their opinion is irrelevant and only politicians' opinion counts?
And, if this is a topic concerning linguistics, do you know what linguistics say about this? I think, this should be the end of the controversy, as science says Valencian is the name given to different variants of the Catalan language spoken in the Land of Valencia.
Finally, I would like to comment your sentence: Valencian derived from the Catalan, yes. But the Catalan derives from the Latin. According to your logic, only exists the Latin.

Actuality news: On 1 July 2013, the Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua (which is the official normative institution of the Valencian idiom, according to the article 6.8 of the Valencian Estatut d'Autonomia) makes a press release explaining they have sent an institutional declaration to the Valencian Parliament (Les Corts) stating (among other things):
«People from the Land of Valencia, from Catalonia, from the Balearic Islands, and from other territories of the former Crown of Aragon, we share the same language, even if due to the passage of time each zone has maintained or incorporated specific forms and words.»

There is no scientific debate on this. Just linking the 2005 declaration by Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua which states that Valencian, Majorcan, and Catalan people share one and the same language (appendix 4). There isn't much room for discussion, imo. --ESM (talk) 13:27, 2 July 2013 (UTC)

Hola, estic intentant pujar una nova versió de l'arxiu "File:Sistema ternari dels feldspats.png". He llegit que s'havia de pujar amb el mateix nom, però l'uploader em dona l'error "Ja hi ha [/wiki/File:Sistema_ternari_dels_feldspats.gif un altre fitxer] amb el mateix nom de fitxer al wiki". Podria ser aplicable a aquest cas, l'emissió és una obra "vista con ocasión de acontecimientos de actualidad" i podria ser reproduida si es pot considerar que aquí té una finalitat informativa. Hola, he fet una adaptació del UploadWizard per als estudiants que participaran a la iniciativa wikiArS: Campaign:wikiArS. Els textos ara estan tots en anglès i alguns estan traduïts ja al català o al castellà. Us volia demanar ajuda per traduir els que falten. Són textos curts o mitjans i per traduir només cal clicar un botó de la plantilla posant l'identificador de llengua (ca) i canviant el text en anglès que us sortirà (respectant enllaços si n'hi ha). Bienvenido. El problema és:
  • Que probablement l'Stefan4 té raó, i la llei espanyola i l'estatunidenca prohibeixen que qualsevol faci servir les fotos d'aquests trofeus per qualsevol cosa sense permís de l'autor del trofeu.
  • A Commons es compleixen les lleis de copyright. El que fa no és amenaçar, sinó proposar l'esborrat dels fitxers que creu que no compleixen la llei.
  • Si creus que hi ha fitxers de l'Stefan4 que també s'haurien d'esborrar, pots proposar-los. Ho pots fer en una discussió nova (no afegir-los a una discussió diferent, que a més ja està tancada). Només cal que cliquis l'enllaç "nominate for deletion" al menú de l'esquerra (que hauríem de traduir). Si abans de fer-ho vols una opinió d'algú amb una mica més d'experiència sobre si un particular fitxer hauria de ser proposat, pots demanar-ho a qualsevol taverna.
I no compartir fitxers com aquests, amb obres artístiques recents (com una copa) és una bona idea, però hi ha moltes altres coses que necessiten ser fotografiades i pujades a Commons.--Pere prlpz (talk) 16:38, 21 September 2013 (UTC)

Sobre trofeos.

Últimamente se estan eliminando todas las copas de commons, bien, aunque me cueste entenderlo puedo asumir que se trata de trofeos que han sido diseñado por alguien, con logos de competiciones y que se exiben en museos privados. Ok, ¿pero, qué pasa con esa copa de ping pong que ganaste de jovencito en tu pueblo? ¿Puede ser añadida en commons?

Por ejemplo, esta copa, File:One trophy.JPG que anteriormente puse como recopa de Baloncesto, ¿sin esos datos podrías ser cargada? No hay logo de competición, ni deporte, ni año, ni nombre del sitio donde está expuesta, ni club vencedor...

¿Por qué esta puede estar?: [27] ¿Hay que eliminar el 100% de los trofeos? Agradecería respuesta clara, no es mi intención crear conflictos y no quiero hacer más el ridículo...Prades (talk) 10:09, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

Bàsicament, sí, s'han d'eliminar tots excepte els que tinguin el permís de l'autor, els que siguin prou antics perquè els drets d'autor hagin caducat, i molt poques excepcions més. El fet que la copa sigui de la Copa del Món de vés a saber què, o sigui del campionat de ping-pong de la festa major és irrellevant. Fins i tot una copa per beure, si té una decoració original, s'hauria d'esborrar. El de menys és que sapiguem de quin campionat és.
Que hi hagi imatges que s'han d'esborrar i no s'han esborrat encara és motiu per proposar-les per esborrar (o avisar algú altre com ara l'Stefan4 per si ho vol fer ell), però no és motiu per conservar-ne d'altres que tampoc es poden conservar.--Pere prlpz (talk) 13:06, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
Ha quedado bastante claro, pero entonces, ¿no entiendo que el Stefan4 (ya que lo mencionas) no ponga todas, todas, todas las copas en vez de ir por "partes"... El proceso de eliminación debería ser rápido y para todos igual, para que nadie tenga la sensación que sólo se "castiga" las que uno ha cargado. L'Stefan4 deu posar les que troba, i per blocs homogenis. En una wiki, i en qualsevol feina feta per voluntaris, cadascú fa la feina que vol fer i sempre queden feines a mitges. La feina d'esborrar el que no podem tenir és una feina important que sempre es queda a mitges. Si haguéssim de repartir-ne la culpa, qui menys en tindria és qui hi ha treballat en la part que s'ha fet, i els més culpables seríem tots els que no hi hem fet gran cosa. Speak up about the trademark registration of the Community logo.

Hi all,

Please join the consultation about the Community logo that represents Meta-Wiki: m:Community Logo/Request for consultation.

This community consultation was commenced on September 24. The following day, two individuals filed a legal opposition against the registration of the Community logo.

The question is whether the Wikimedia Foundation should seek a collective membership mark with respect to this logo or abandon its registration and protection of the trademark.

We want to make sure that everyone get a chance to speak up so that we can get clear direction from the community. We would therefore really appreciate the community's help in translating this announcement from English so that everyone is able to understand it.

Com/on/a qui es demana si es poden reanomenar? Seguint l'exemple de Category:La Verneda i la Pau fóra bo que Category:Línia de la Verneda es digués Category:Línia de la Verneda (Francesc Torres) i que Category:El Llarg Viatge es digués Category:El llarg viatge (Francesc Torres) (en minúscules). Les polítiques de noms de categories a Commons són més aviat inoperants i això és la llei de la selva. Per això evito per principi remenar els noms que han posat els altres si no és amb una bona raó (o sigui, una raó millor que trobar un nom que a mi m'agradi una mica més).
En general, jo no desambiguaria res si no hi ha problemes d'amgigüitat. És discutible si és millor fer servir "Obra (autor)", "Obra (ciutat)", "Obra (carrer)" o "Obra (any)", i de fet "Obra (autor)" no diu gran cosa a qui no conegui l'autor, i la majoria d'obres d'art públic són d'autors poc coneguts. Entre les categories d'art públic que tenim hi ha de tot, però mirant només les de Barcelona moltes no estan desambiguades de cap manera. Pot ser que a la Verneda hi hagi majoria de noms de categoria amb autor, però a Category:Public art in El Gòtic (Barcelona) n'hi ha amb l'autor, amb Barcelona, amb el carrer, amb l'adreça, amb l'edifici i sense res.--Pere prlpz (talk) 13:10, 16 November 2013 (UTC)

En el menú de l'esquerra, en un del grup d'opcions diu "participar". L'infinitiu clarament no és adequat aquí, però tinc dubtes: "Participeu" com imperatiu sembla la idea original en anglès participate; o "Participació" com acció més en consonància amb l'altre simplement descriptiu "Eines" i més en la idea que pretèn transmetre l'infinitiu. --V.Riullop (talk) 13:21, 30 November 2013 (UTC)

Fotografies d'art públic a Andorra

A Andorra per ara no existeix Freedom of Panorama, i per aquest motiu les escultures exposades a la via pública, d'autors vius o bé morts en els darrers anys, no poden esser publicades lliurement a Commons sense el permís de l'autor. Per salvar aquest tipus d'imatges caldria aconseguir autorització dels escultors o els seus hereus. Faig una crida a localitzar les imatges, els escultors i aconseguir el major nombre de permisos possible. D'altra banda m'imagino que a Andorra hi deu haver art a l'espai públic que ja està al domini públic perquè els drets han expirat,no? Si es fa aquest inventari també estaria bé distingir quines obres tenen drets vigents i quines no. Seems nothing happened since I posted the listings below some days ago. Instead of summarily deleting all these images, the proposal is that for the images listed under b) you try to identify the original sculptor/artist (files can then be moved into section a)), and that for the images in section a) you try to contact the original sculptors/artists (or heir) and try to obtain his/her permission for all or some images of his/her works. --Túrelio (talk) 10:36, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi Jordi and Vriullop, regrettably I don't speak Catalan, but I assume that the above linked permission template has the same content as the english one OTRS#Declaration_of_consent_for_all_enquiries. If yes, then the text needs to be changed a bit, taking into account that we have 2 copyrights here, the primary one of the sculptor and the secondary one of the photographer. So, the statement by the sculptor should be that he/she as the creator and copyright-holder of sculpture/work XY gives permission that the designated photographies 1, 2, 3 (need to be linked in the permission) of his sculpture/work can be released under a free license that also allows commercial re-use and creation of derivatives of these photographies. (The sculptur/artist should not get the impression that he gives up his copyright in the sculpture/work itself, which is not the case. You are right, that permission in Catalan needs to be changed a bit. Anyway, it seems the permission will be granted only to the current images which we will link in the text, and not to future images of the same sculpture that may be uploaded in the future. That depends on the course of communication with the sculptor. If a sculptor shows a very positive reaction, one might try to ask if he/she would give such a blanket permission. However, I would recommend against asking for such a permission from the start. It might actually be too much for most artists. In addition, we don't need 20 similar images of the same sculpture. Therefore, if we have already many images of 1 specific sculpture, I would recommend to include only the best of them in the permission request. --Túrelio (talk) 07:33, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

  • The process to obtain permissions is slow, so I would ask again all administrators to not delete the images when we have identified the sculptors and we are contacting them. Today the sculptor Emili Armengol has replied to me that he will give his permission. Now I want to to send him a link to the images of his sculpture, but one of the images has been deleted so I am not able to show it to him. Ús d'imatges d'autor desconegut

Hola! Vull utilitzar uan imatge d'una persona que va morir l'any passat. Té un blog on hi va penjar imatges seves, però ni la família ni els amics en saben l'autoria. La família no té imatges de la persona exercint la seva professió (músic). Puc utilitzar-les amb alguna precaució o avís lligat a la imatge? No, no podem utilitzar-les. Pels autors anònims o pseudònims les imatges tenen reserva de drets, depén de la situació i país, però al menys d'uns 70 anys des de la primera comunicació pública (lícita) de la foto. Si després l'autor de la foto es descobreix llavors serà fins 70 anys de la seva mort (del fotògraf, no del retratat). El millor seria intentar localitzar l'autor i que ell mateix alliberés els drets sobre la imatge. Si va fer fotos per al músic no crec que hi posi pegues. --Dvdgmz (talk) 16:17, 5 December 2013 (UTC)

Informe final IEG wikiArS

 
 
A l'abril passat vaig rebre un Individual Engagement Grants de la Fundació Wikimedia per treballar en la consolidació de la iniciativa wikiArS. Durant mig any hi he estat treballant i recentment he presentat l'Informe final que us convido a llegir. Potser també us poden interessar els estudis de cas. Crec que els objectius de consolidació s'han aconseguit, la iniciativa ha crescut en experiències i en persones involucrades. La he estat promovent i dinamitzant, també he desenvolupat alguns recursos que la faciliten, a més la metodologia i recomenacions estan més ben documentades. Vull agrair a totes les persones amb les qui estic col·laborant en aquesta iniciativa, als qui hi estan participant i a tots aquells que hi heu ajudat o heu fet aportacions. Acaba doncs el meu període de IEGrantee però segueixo compromès amb la iniciativa, tenim moltes coses engegades en les que seguir treballant, espero comptar amb la vostra col·laboració.
