Scope Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope:
Icelandic horse
Used in Global usage
Reason A good quality picture of a well-conformed Icelandic horse performing a balanced, strong tölt. The gait is one of the, if not "the", defining characteristics of the breed. -- Pitke (talk)

What's wrong with the scope? It's perfectly fine as a horse breed. It was taken in Iceland, no further info. Will snoop around in case there's something to be found. Pitke (talk) 18:09, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Added geolocation (or tried at least). Pitke (talk) 18:17, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  •   Support I am absolutely not a specialist in horse breeds but the en:WP article is a Featured Article which is a good help for reviewing this image. As far as I can see, the animal presents the breed characteristics (at least head, neck, chest, back, legs, mane ; I don't feel very self-assured to assess the the withers, shoulders, croup and tail). Its gray coat color is one of the breed. One could prefer an image of a horse alone, but the rider gives the scale, which is important for this breed (often considered pony size). The horse is gambling, showing a gait very specific to the breed (the tölt). The image is documented and geocoded. I find it is the nicest one of its category with all these features. => OK to me. --Myrabella (talk) 23:50, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
