Français : Journal de guerre de Robert Diot, conducteur
J'apporte le journal de guerre de mon grand-père Robert Diot intitulé "Mon temps au régiment". Robert Diot a été incorporé le 12 avril 1915 au 11ème régiment d'artillerie de campagne à Rouen, désigné conducteur, il a ensuite suivi une formation de chauffeur automobile au DMAP (Dépôt de matériel automobile et de personnel) à Boulogne sur Seine. Là, il apprend la "conduite des tracteurs Jeffery destinés à remorquer les pièces d'artillerie lourde". Il a tenu ce journal jusqu'au 21 septembre 1919, jour de son retour à la vie civile. |
