There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Thanks for uploading File:Fingering-charts-tuba-72-dpi.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Fingering-charts-tuba-72-dpi.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

exINT edit

Hi) These:   (exINT2),   (uexINT2) &   (exINTACC3+1) should actually have a grey circle in order to represent that the station is also unused/proposed, like   (exINT). BTW, I don't think you will get any answer from AlisonW; better post a message to Useddenim so that he includes your icons to en:Wikipedia:Route diagram template/Catalog of pictograms subpages, or you can edit those pages yourself. BSicons edit

Hi, please be more careful with your BSicon uploads so they don't have to be cleaned up afterwards. Of the files you uploaded yesterday, only one of them was named correctly, wasn't a duplicate and didn't have an incorrect stroke-dasharray. Jc86035 (talk) 12:08, 8 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that. I didn't realize it existed until after I uploaded it. γ=2πrt2 (talk|Contributions) 21:53, 8 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Mixed icons need the m prefix (after e and x); BHFCC (except for CPIC and terminals) has been retired; INTs should now use 50px stroke and 125px radius. I will be mass-(re)uploading (h|t|)(BHF|INT|HST|DST|BST|ACC|INTACC|HSTACC) and similarly terminal stations and CONTs in all 32 sets at some point, so you don't need to do those. Jc86035 (talk) 05:32, 9 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you're still interested in uploading random BSicons which may never be used, upload them in all 32 sets at a time and try to reduce the file sizes where files differ from BSicon/Icon geometry and SVG code neatness. Download (ex)STR, KBHFxe, or some other files in all 32 sets using Imker and find and replace within those files (I use a command line tool to duplicate default-set icons 31 times but it doesn't work with more than ~100 files). Use VicuñaUploader or pywikibot so that you can add the category names with {{BSicon file description}} (whole file description; sometimes works – I haven't finished the module yet), [[{{subst:#invoke:BSicon|categorize}}]] (adds category; sometimes works) or [[Category:BSicon/railway{{subst:User:Jc86035/sandbox2}}/your subcategory here]] (adds the set only; works for all non-mixed icons). pywikibot is more difficult but also allows you to handle reuploads the same way as new files.

Also, please use the custom license {{Pd-shape}} or the CC0 license since these are all uncopyrightable or non-transformative derivatives of other images released into the public domain. Jc86035 (talk) 10:35, 14 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
