Request to announce Valued images on de.wikipedia #back from archive

Hallo ABF! I was wondering if you would help us announce the launch of the Valued images project on June 1, 2008 at 0:00 (UTC) on the German village pump, FPC talk and graphics lab pages? The announcement has been translated to German already by Dschwen, so it is mainly a cut'n'paste job. If you are not interested in the doing it or do not have the time, could you perhaps delegate the task to another de regular? We have a thread at here for coodinating the announcements. Plese report back there here. I have also asked AngMoKio to do this yesterday, but this user does not seem to be online currently. Thanks for uploading Image:Bahnhof_Wetter01-2.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multilicense GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. Hi... if you can possibly un/redelete with a better link to what the issue was (there was no original deletion request I think?), that might be good. I believe this user was discussed somewhere but don't recall where (all contribs are deleted). "nicht sonderlich klar"? ja, es gibt stimmen, die meinen, es seien nicht unbedingt URVs — nun hast du aber eine handvoll bilder des herrn schon nach meinen LAs als obvious copy vios gelöscht, magst/kannst aber den rest nicht löschen, weil manche meinen, es seien evtl. keine!?

Image:Olivenca Portugal.png deleted: what missing information?

Hi! I see you've deleted Image:Olivenca Portugal.png because "Was in Category:Unknown as of 11 April 2008; still missing essential information." Sorry, but what essential information was it missing?

What can be done to revert the delete? An essential image since there's no other map of the whole country of Portugal including Olivença/Olivenza; plus it made by myself so I can license it at my own will. Thanks in advance – Tintazul ^talk 15:34, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

ABF is not online, but the tagging seems to be actually an IP vandalism. Now I have restored that one, sorry for the inconvenience. --S^[1] 09:16, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
