Bildinformationen

Hallo Melkom! Bitte ergänze bei deinen Dateien hier grundlegende Dateiinformationen. Bei den NC-Dateien habe ich es mal nachgeholt. Ohne Angabe von Author und Source werden die Bilder hier früher oder später zum Löschen vorgeschlagen. Du bist ja erstmal nur der Uploader, mehr geht momentan daraus nicht hervor. Homebrewn information templates

Hi. I noticed you're using an information template of your own for many of your images. Doing that ruins machine readability, which is extremely important for reuse of the information. Your images are not visible on Commons:Geocoding#Use_of_the_information for example. Please reconsider. --Para 10:06, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Guten Tag. Ich habe festgestellt, dass du eine eigene Info-Vorlage zur Beschreibung für viele deiner Bilder verwendest. Dies verhindert jedoch die maschinelle Erfassung, welche extrem wichtig für die Weiterverwendung der Informationen ist. Deine Bilder sind beispielsweise nicht unter Commons:Geocoding#Use_of_the_information gelistet. Wir sind darauf angewiesen, dass alle User die commons-eigene Beschreibungs-Vorlage verwenden. Einordnung diverser Kartenwerke in Geschichtskategorien

Die Einordnung von Kartenwerken des Frankfurter Umlands aus dem 18. und 19. Jh. in die Kategorien “Maps of Frankfurt am Main showing 18th-century history” und “Maps of Frankfurt am Main showing 19th-century history” ist historisch nicht korrekt. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt gehörten die dargestellten Gebiete noch nicht zu Frankfurt, sind also somit kein Teil der Frankfurter Geschichte dieser Zeit. Oder anders zur Verdeutlichung: Günter Grass wurde 1927 in Danzig geboren, nicht in Gdansk. Ihr solltet da also andere Kategoriebezeichnungen finden. --Eva K. ^Message 17:55, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

kategorisierung eurotower in willy-brandt-platz

hallo melkom, finde deinen "cat-tausch" von "ffm-innenstadt" auf "willy-brandt-platz" eher verwirrend und irreführend als hilfreich, weil dadurch alle darin enthaltenen aufnahmen egal von welcher entfernung und aus welcher perspektive auf die postadresse festgelegt werden. wenn jetzt noch jemand von den "spezialisten" auf die idee kommt den aufnahmestandpunkt (z.b. zeilgalerie o.ä.) als cat einzubeziehen ist die verwirrung total - also überleg dir das nochmal! dontworry (talk) 07:29, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Genau dabei hatte ich auch Bauchweh... Ich könnte mir vorstellen, einfach beide Kategorien zu verwenden. Es war nämlich mal angedacht, Straßen und Plätze nicht in die Stadtteile zu kategorisieren. --Sebastian Kasten (talk) 12:10, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

die postadresse der "ezb" ist ausserdem garnicht der "uns-willy-platz", sondern die "kaiserstrasse": [1], deshalb würde ich es in der alten form (nur "ffm-innenstadt) besser finden, sonst haben wir bald 3-zeilige kategorien-monster-anhänge, die kein schwein mehr überschauen kann! nur bei bildern die sonst irgendwo "in-der-ecke-versauern", weil sie keiner findet, ist diese doppel-gemoppel-kategorisierung zweckmässig, z.b. wenn sie im namen keinerlei bezug zum dargestellten objekt aufweisen, sondern nur nummersalat usw. Category:Frankfurter Stadtwald

Die Frankfurter Kategorien sind schon eine reichliche Referenz ans Englische, das mit Category:Frankfurt urban forest war aber doch ein wenig zu viel des Guten. Immerhin ist das — auch — ein Eigenname. Nicht alles muß übersetzt werden. --Eva K. ^{is evil} 21:59, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Schwarzen Rand gekappt, Himmel mit Schnellauswahl (etwas Frickelei wegen der Äste, die dürfen nicht mit markiert werden) markiert und mit dem „Rauschfilter/Staub und Kratzer...“ den Dreck entfernt, dann mit Auto-Farbe, Tiefen/Lichter, Farbbalance und selektiver Farbkorrektur die Farben, Lichtwerte und Kontraste wieder rausgeholt. --Eva K. ^{is evil} 15:17, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

U-Bahn in Frankfurt

Hi Melkom!

Habe gerade mal Dein Bild http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:U-bahn_in_frankfurt.png angeschaut und festgestellt, dass es leider nicht mehr up-to-date ist. Die Verlängerung der U4 nach Enkheim fehlt.

Außerdem heisst die Haltestelle Oberursel Portstraße nun Oberursel Altstadt.

Im Dezember kommen dann noch die Linien U8 und U9 dazu, ggf. kannst Du die schon andeuten oder im Dezember das Bild nochmal überarbeiten? Leider kann ich das selbst nicht (dazu bin ich zu schlecht in Bildbearbeitung). Falls Du aber Infos brauchst, was wann wo wie verläuft (falls Du es nicht weisst), kann ich Dir gerne weiterhelfen.

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

I noticed you've uploaded File:Gallustor, Frankfurt (Merian).png and I thought I should draw your attention to a common error.
Please give some thought to writing a good description of uploaded images. This ensures that they can be used. It also helps those that review and improve categories do a better job, which also ensures that images will get used in novel and interesting ways. Thanks, and happy editing!

Datei "Mitarbeiterentwicklung Opel.png" aktualsieren

Danke für das schöne Diagramm, welches allerdings durch einige Aktualisierungen besser werdem könnte:

1. Klarstellung, daß diese Zahlen für die deutschen Werke gelten, aber nicht für Opel europaweit;

2. Aktualisierung für die Jahre nach 2005:

    2006:  29,375
    2007:  27,226
    2008:  25,667
    2009:  25,103
    2010:  ???
    2011:  22,166

Für die Jahre 2006 bis 2009 (vielleicht auch schon 2005) ist anzumerken, daß diese Zahl auch Chevrolet-Beschäftigte einschließt (unter den Verwaltungsangestellten). Vielleicht wäre es sinnvoll, in drei Zahlenreihen die Beschäftigten in Produktion, Verwaltung, und Entwicklung getrennt darzustellen (liegt mir für 2011 allerdings nicht vor).

3. wie schon in der Commons-Seite vorgeschlagen, die Grafik als SVG-Datei einzustellen.

Kategorien „Bus routes numbered n“

Hallo Melkom! Gehören zu den Kategorien „Bus routes numbered n“ auch die Haltestellen oder sollen dort nur die Busse einsortiert werden? --GeorgDerReisende (talk) 12:59, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

Rein von der Logik würde ich sagen auch die Haltestellen, aber nach dem was bisher in diese Kategorien eingeordnet wurde, würde ich nur Bilder von Bussen, die tatsächlich diese Liniennummer zeigen einordnen. Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2022 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the seventeenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2022) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. How to ask for speedy-delete of an empty category

When you want to ask for speedy-delete of an empty category, best practice is to mark it with {{SD|C2}} if it would be OK to re-create it in the future, given that appropriate content becomes available or {{SD|C1}} if it is an inappropriate category name that should not be reused. In particular, this is better practice than just blanking the category page, as you did at Category:Tram line Ebbelwei-Expreß (Frankfurt am Main).
