Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Actually, very little of the text in the image is readable unless you view it with approaching full 2000px resolution. I may get around to tinkering with the bottom right captions, but it's not a high priority for me... AnonMoos (talk) 23:43, 2 March 2013 (UTC)

Grafik European_long-distance_paths.svg

Erstmal Danke fuer die Vektorgrafik. Gibt es einen Grund, dass die noch nicht auf der englischen eingebunden ist? Ansonsten bin ich der Meinung, dass sie einen Fehler enthaellt. Der E4 tangiert auf deiner Karte Andorra am noerdlichen/westlichen Rand. Soweit ich das sehe verlaeuft der aber oestlich von Andorra (Zumindest interpretiere ich den englischen Wikieintrag so). Und der E7 geht bei dir nordwestlich an Andorra vorbei, sollte aber durch suedost? Andorra verlaufen. Die png Datei auf der englischen Wikipedia hat die gleichen Fehler wie es aussieht. Oder sind die Rohdaten einfach nur zu grob? Evtl. kann man das anpassen auch wenn's nur eine Kleinigkeit ist? TFTD (talk) 12:58, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

Da ich mit der Genauigkeit der Karte noch nicht wirklich zufrieden bin, habe ich sie noch nicht auf allen Wikipedien eingebunden. Bald werde ich eine verbesserte Version veröffentlichen, in der ich auch deinen Korrekturvorschlag umsetzen werde. Unter wikivoyage:de:Wikivoyage:Lounge/Archiv 2013-03-11#Europäische Fernwanderwege habe ich bereits einige Ungenauigkeiten bzw. Uneindeutigkeiten genannt. Der Link funktioniert bei mir nicht und ich bekomme ihn händisch gerade nicht repariert. Ich schaue gerne mal drüber aber gleich vorweg. Ich habe nur sehr punktuelles wissen. Die Sache mit Andorra ist mir nur aufgefallen, weil ich mich gerade damit beschäftigt hatte. Aber es ist gut möglich, dass ich mich an anderen Stellen auch intensiver mit der Wegführung beschäftige. Hi Pyfisch, wie hast du es bloß geschafft, in die Azimuthprojektion-Europakarte Tracks (von OSM?) in WGS84 einzubauen? Pi mal Daumen oder gibt es dafür ein gescheites Tool? PezzeyRaus

Hi PezzeyRaus, die File:European long-distance paths.svg ist fürchte ich abgezeichnet. Ich kann mich leider nicht mehr erinnern wie ich File:European long-distance paths osm.svg erstellt habe, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass ich ein Tool benutzt habe sodass alle Punkte an der korrekten Stelle sind. Stadtkarten von Kingston, Jamaika

Da meine Internetverbindung gerade sehr lahm ist, kann es sein, dass sich die Frage schon erledigt hat. Dennoch: Möchtest du File:Kingston-groß.JPG nicht auch zum löschen vorschlagen? Also passend zu File:Kingston-zentrum.JPG. Grüße, Timmaexx (talk) 15:53, 21 September 2013 (UTC)

---Ist mir inzwischen gleichgültig, was damit geschieht, weil man inzwischen mit OSM mehr Infos erhalten kann. Nur zur Info: Diese Karten hat Joachim Greiner (Jamaicajoe) angefertigt. Er war glaube ich 15 Jahr als Entwicklungshelfer in der Karibik und wollte danach einen gedruckten Reiseführer herausgeben. Als ihn ein Verlag mehr oder weniger verärgerte, hat er die gesamte Daten zu WV transferiert. Welche Grundlagen er damals hatte, schwer zu sagen. Jedenfalls keine aus dem Internet. Du findest fast von allen Inseln der Karibik eine Zeichnung von ihm. Ich hatte mir in der Bücherei damals (2009?) einige Führer ausgeliehen, aber nichts ähnliches entdeckt. Was nichts garantiert, da meine Suche nicht vollständig war (nur deutsche und in Deutschland erhältliche englische Führer). -- Balou46 (talk) 13:41, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Lizenzierung von OSM Karten

Nochmal ne Nachricht von mir:

OSM Karten sind erst seit August 2012 unter der OdbL veröffentlicht worden. Alles davor bleibt CC-By-Sa. Somit ist File:LeipzigPlan.png nun falsch lizenziert. Nur zur Info ;-) --Timmaexx (talk) 16:31, 21 September 2013 (UTC)

Und was ist mit Karten, die lediglich Daten von Openstreetmap verwenden aber keine fertigen Kartenbilder von OpenStreetMap (sprich selbst mit irgendeinem Programm gerendert wurden)? {{ODbL OpenStreetMap}} verwenden? Und daher nicht zwingend unter CC-BY-SA-2.0 lizensiert sind? --Pyfisch (talk) 17:38, 21 September 2013 (UTC)

Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, dann Template:OpenStreetMap nutzen und den Parameter: odbl=no anfügen. Steht auch auf der Dokumentationsseite da. Habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert, werde ich aber gleich mal machen. Hat etwas gedauert, bis ich da was gefunden habe. Sehr unübersichtlich. --Timmaexx (talk) 17:50, 21 September 2013 (UTC)

If you update this image again, could you please use thousands-separators (e.g., "20,000,000" or "20 000 000") so the numbers on the y-axis can be understood more easily? Your VFC installation method is deprecated

Hello Pyfisch, we are aware that using the old installation method of VFC (via common.js, which you are using) may not work reliably anymore and can break other scripts as well. A detailed explanation can be found here. Important: To prevent problems please remove the old VFC installation code from your common.js and instead enable the VFC gadget in your preferences. Wikidata

Back in 2013 you uploaded pictures of employees of the RWI. As you can see in this overview I've added them to a part of the Wikimedia projects that didn't yet exist at the time: Wikidata. Wikidata is where the structured data that supports Wikipedia is stored. A big part of Wikidata is collecting published research and linking that to people, so almost everyone in your set of photos was already there. It would be nice if the RWI had more high quality photos. Would you be able to ask them for an update? Vera ^(talk) 11:35, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

Hello Vera, I don't have a connection to RWI. In 2013 I just wrote them an email and they agreed to license their press photos as CC-BY-SA. They still have a number of press photos however now they directly state the license as CC-BY-NC-ND. I'll send them an email and ask if they would consider changing the license (at least for one photo per person). --Pyfisch (talk) 13:32, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
