Image has a source edit

Not sure why this image

was tagged as not having a source. I clearly listed the magazine's title and date and page, and the title and author of the article it appeared in. I added a bluelink in case you want to look for yourself. Please remove the unsourced tag you placed there. - Penny Richards (talk) 14:27, 11 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Try not to make more work for others than is reasonably necessary. Thank you. Ellin Beltz (talk) 17:18, 11 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Ellin Beltz: Yeah sure I was only following as per COM:EI as per which I have done my work thanks for being there to assist --✝iѵɛɳ२२४०†ลℓк †๏ мэ 17:21, 11 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

You must have misread the page, it says If you are uploading a file that originally came from an external website, you should provide at least a link to the web page (i.e., the url) on which the image or file is displayed (that is, not the web address of the file itself, but rather the web page containing the file). If that page does not also fully explain the freely licensed copyright status of the file, you should also provide a second link to a related page that discusses the website's content copyright, such as its terms of use. Note that it is entirely possible for different versions of what appear to be the exact same image to have been released under different licenses, so tread carefully.
User Penny Richards did absolutely nothing wrong based on COM:EI or any of our other guidelines, I see no reason why you tagged the image, implied there was not, and continue to justify your error. Your comment on her talk page where you say all administrators are men is not only incorrect but sexist. Please reconsider what you consider to be your "work" in light of COM:AGF. Since there are 46,000 plus images which really need a source, there's no reason to chide someone who is providing sources, especially doing so within the guidelines that you yourself referenced. Marathi Wikipedia edit

I noticed that you have raised the issue of my block on mrwiki at the local Admin noticeboard. May I know why? §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 09:01, 15 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Dharmadhyaksha: I've seen your contribution on global information and you have a great editing knowledge but then too due to reasons you were blocked. I believe that Wikipedia is for all and if because of personal emity if anyone is misusing his powers than it must be raised up. Mahitgar has explained everything what you did on Marathi Wikipedia but I don't believe it is appropriate for such silly reasons to block you. If Marathi Wikipedia administrators would work in collaboration with Commons admin(you) it would be beneficial for them as well as Commons. Mahitgar said Marathi Wikipedia is only for Marathi Wikipedia which demotivated me and that's y I am here on Commons. But I find you keeping an eye on me and my edits if I am doing wrong do correct me. In my eyes u as well as mahitgar has same position if y'all both would come together it would be a great experience as I think. But you are spying on Marathi Wikipedia admins and marking their contribution for deletion as u also personally know that exif and all that is not the actual reason it's personal emity for such deletion
I believe that nothing will happen by this steps that y'all both are doing he blocking you deleting it's a loss for you too and Marathi Wikipedia.
I've explained you everything and if u think my thinking is against your belief take this as your feedback but stop blowing wind in the fire it's not gonna benefit you nor him
You and me both come from Mumbai and we know we have to go with the flow we have different visions. We are using advance Technics but they are from rural parts of Maharashtra and not with advance broad mind which has made us against the system there on Mr Wikipedia. On your English Wikipedia page I've found your craze to make Marathi Wikipedia great but I know it's very bad feel when you are blocked on your own home language wiki.thats why I had requested that you should get at least one chance for making Wikipedia great but they are truely against your belief but as I said Wikipedia is for everyone you try to apologise and then we can work to make MrWp great --✝iѵɛɳ२२४०†ลℓк †๏ мэ 10:00, 15 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Long back, may be in 2013 or so, a certain user @Yogesh Khandke: with whom maybe you have not interacted, was discussing with me how mrwiki should be improved at it should rank well above it's current status amongst global Marathi websites. Advantages of a local language encyclopedia are plenty many to note when we compare it with a global one like enwiki. We both were well aware of the mismanagement of mrwiki and while addition of content improves quality, deletion of unworthy content is equally important to maintain quality. Anyways... the site is full of hypocrites and I see no mistake of mine for which I should be sorry for.
So his highness admin has replied to your post and said that I should have contacted him on a different wiki. He sure was pinged on Meta Wikimedia on 1st March after which he was active there on 14th March. Hypocrisy? Also note that अभय नातू has also been active on Meta since he was called for discussion. And now his highness tells me to explain newcomers how to write encyclopedias and despite that after so many days I see no note on User:चैताली कंद्रूप's mrwiki page on explaining how "टपकलेले" आणि "टुणूक टुणूक उड्या" मारणारे डोम कावळे do not fit the language of encyclopedia. Hypocrisy maybe? And now that his highness claims to be extensively working on copyright issues, can they explain why images File:MarathiEyes3.png and File:MarathiEyes.png when being debated for deletion over here as to not following our licensing requirement from 28 Feb were locally uploaded on mrwiki here and here on the same day? Is that not abuse of powers? And if they think I tagged their images on Commons out of animosity or malice, why did they not challenge it here? Did they assume I am just like them who abuses the powers conferred? §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 10:51, 15 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Dharmadhyaksha: see I am new to wiki and I am proud that within a week here on Commons I have done 1000 edits. There is RFC did u tried that?. Narsikar and abhay natu are fine I don't find fault but this is not the first time I've seen mahitgar going against Wikipedia rules. I mostly speak a dialect of Marathi what's y I don't interfear most in administration as that wikimedia foundation has given freedom to form it's own rules so that person is taking advantage of it. I was frustrated when he didn't gave permission to upload files on local Wikipedia that's the reason I started saying against him.he cleared all my doubts but I am not satisfied as there are many images under fair use and he is making his own rules for it. One of the administrator there also is against the system but he can't do anything as he also finds himself trapped in this vicious circle. See to improve situation there if u are ready to take leadership I'll surely back u up with support but I am weak in that language Grammer and am sure u can find many evidence against him. --✝iѵɛɳ२२४०†ลℓк †๏ мэ 12:12, 15 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately I do not have time to admin mrwiki and I enjoy more of editing than policing. I do not see much hope on that wiki and nor was Meta's post giving any positive signs. So I will just let it be. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 03:45, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Dharmadhyaksha: ,
I was pointed to this discussion just now by @Tiven2240: . I read with chagrin your missives about the happenings on w:mr.
A minor point of order/clarification: You write above - So his highness admin has replied to your post... Also note that अभय नातू has also been active on Meta since he was called for discussion. And now his highness ...
I am assuming that you're referring to someone else as his highness. I strongly believe that I have not taken a high handed approach to this matter (or for most any matters on wikipedida) to be conferred this epithet. If you were indeed calling me his highness, do let me know what prompted that and I will be happy to hear what you thought were my slights (if any) towards you and explain myself.
I saw your ban on w:mr and am currently trying to decipher the reasoning/circumstances behind it. I sincerely hope that the issue will be clarified and result in the ban being reverted. I further hope (sincerely again) that you will once more consider contributing to w:mr as you can.
Regards,
अभय नातू (talk) 17:35, 4 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

@अभय नातू: Thanks for your interference in this matter. With respect to the above "his Highness". It's for the admin who banned Dharmadhyaksha and not u just to clarify --✝iѵɛɳ२२४०†ลℓк †๏ мэ 17:47, 4 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

@अभय नातू: , as Tiven rightly says, that epithet wasn't for you. And you may save your time and efforts as I sincerely have no interest in that wiki any more. I have taken up to write on Hindi Wikipedia instead and am liking it there. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 04:26, 5 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

File:Americans All.png edit

Why would you bother to tag this image File:Americans All.png for licence review when it is so obviously US government work? I've removed the tag. Ww2censor (talk) 13:19, 2 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

User talk:Obstsorte edit

Hi, why did you delete the images? These are cuts from more than 70 years old newspapers. The newspaper had a circulation of more than 100,000 copies daily. This newspaper has not existed since 1943. And my cuts are even from before. You can find them in many libraries and private households. What should I do? I'm new to WP. Where is the problem? --Obstsorte (talk) 18:59, 2 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
