Please give images good descriptions

I noticed you've uploaded one or more images and I thought I should turn your attention to a common error.
Please give some thought to writing a good description of uploaded images. This ensures that they can be used. It also helps those that review and improve categories do a better job, which also ensures that images will get used in novel and interesting ways. Image:Trifolium_aureum_4.jpg misidentified

Dear Tocekas,

your above image does not show either Trifolium aureum (as it is suggested on your personal page and by the file name) nor Trifolium dubium. I moved it to Trifolium campestre because this is extremely likely (even though I am not entirely sure that there might be a lookalike in your country which does not occur in Germany). My reasons are explained on the respective image talk page. If you agree then I would be grateful if you could check my changes because I am not very experienced in editing Wiki pages. And you should also correct the plant name on your personal page, of course. If I did something wrong then please complain either here or by mail (http://www.flogaus-faust.de/bc/mail.htm). Thank you! Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Duplicate files

Just so you know if you upload an image with an incorrect file name and then upload it again with the correct name, the proper procedure would be to add the {{duplicate|File:<Corrected filename>}} tag instead of the {{Delete}} tag. --Captain-tucker (talk) 16:58, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

Misidentified Image:Jasione montana.jpg

Dear Tocekas,

Image:Jasione montana.jpg shows a plant from the Dipsacaceae family, probably a Knautia species, not Jasione montana. I recategorized the image and removed it from the index of Jasione montana. But I have not corrected your personal page. -- Robert Flogaus-Faust (talk) 19:52, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
