It's not a bogus license though as the file is still licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported license, I'm just stating that the file was originally uploaded on YouTube under a CC license. I can provide a lot of images that do this EXACT thing that weren't deleted, including https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Lil_Uzi_Vert.png and https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Young_Thug_screenshot.jpg and https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Young_Thug_2016_August.png, etc, etc, etc. No permission was provided either and all of these were approved by different adminstrators. Flickr2Commons

I have just come across a few images you have recently uploaded from Flickr. I would appreciate it if in the future, you used the Flickr2Commons tool. This tool allows images to be moved to Commons from Flickr without having to download the images to your own computer. It also brings in the largest resolution of the image, as well making sure to list the correct license and url, making it easy for the automated Flickr Review system. Request reason: "I got blocked for uploading free images that were readily available on Flickr or images that I myself uploaded. CropTool

In the future, I would appreciate it if you used CropTool to crop images. This tool allows users to crop images already on Commons without having to download the images. It also makes sure that, if necessary, the file has already passed license review. It also properly links the images to one another, in case an issue with them comes up later. Please use the correct license

For Creative Commons videos on YouTube, please use {{YouTube CC-BY}}, which is the only CC license offered by YouTube. Also, make sure you add {{LicenseReview}} to images from other websites. This allows the license to be verified by a trusted user, so if, for whatever reason, the license changes or the source file disappears, there’s proof that the license was context. Travis Barker image

Here is some advise you might be able to use in future. I had to review File:Travis-Barker-2017.png and there were several issues. Firstly you should not use png format for image but jpg as it is better suited and is also a smaller file format. When uploading from Flickr you should always use the highest resolution available which they call the original. If you use the Upload Wizard it will walk you through the process and fill in all the appropriate details as well as using the "original" high resolution file. There was also a watermark that you had cropped out. So I uploaded a new full size jpg version File:Travis-Barker-2017.jpg that is 4-times the resolution and asked that your png is deleted. After it was given a good review by the Flickr review robot, I cropped the watermark using CropTool that can be activated in your commons Preferences, under Gadgets. The CropTool will then appears in the left side of your screen. It saves everyone a lot of time because it transfers all the correct and appropriate information into the cropped image, such as source, license, author, etc. It even leaves a backlink to the original and visa versa so long as the original has been positively reviewed. If you are just cropping a small bit of the image like a frame you can decide to overwrite the original image, which is what I did, but for more major crops you should upload the cropped version as a separate new image, though you have a choice. Help on Wikimedia Commons with deleted files

I have been blocked on Wikimedia Commons so I cannot leave a message on your talk page attempting to find help for this issue. I'm not contesting the block but a similar thing has happened to me before that you have helped me. I have had over 100 images deleted which HAVE been checked over before by you (this is not about the block, i was blocked for uploading one or two images I found that I thought were free) and verified for having the right license (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:CoughingCookieHeart#Deleted_content), this is by the same person who deleted them last time and seemed to have not checked the license on any image I have uploaded. It's gotten worse this time and he didn't even leave a message notifying he was going to remove these images so I cannot get a scope of how big it is but I have uploaded 50+ more images off Flickr since and from the past you and I can successfully say that these images he has deleted once again are safe.

I'm asking for help because I don't know any other wikimedia commons administrators (I only use the commons to upload images for articles from flickr and Youtube videos licensed under CC so that the article looks more appealing after while I edit it in visual edit) and this mass deletion which obviously wasn't throughly checked has messed up A LOT of pages for musicians and left many big ones without any images. You will also find that pages like Drake have had their image replaced with the exact one that was deleted by Hystrix (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Drake_at_the_Velvet_Underground_-_2017_(36398066420)_(cropped_5).jpg.) I don't want to create drama but I do feel like I'm being abused as a user who has made a lot of contributes to Commons. Yann, any update here? This has really messed up a LOT of musicians pages, atleast 50-100 so I'd like to start reverting, they've all got legitimate sources and they've been checked over by Guanaco when they were last deleted.CoughingCookieHeart (talk)

I don't get how that makes me a troll, I accidentally found something uploaded on flickr and thought it was free license? That wasn't what led to my block but two other images I uploaded, the images you deleted are pretty much all valid and as I said, some of these images have even been reuploaded in the exact same format that I uploaded them except you have not deleted them. You haven't checked the license to these nor the uploader because a majority came from The Come Up Show which are used by a LOT more uploaders than I. You're legitimately messing up a LOT of pages and there has been a lot of pages who have lost their images just because you perceive me to be a troll due to one incident. I would also like to add my first block was a complete accident on my part due to being on commons for a few days and not understanding copyright law and my second block was due to you mass deleting like you did last time and it was reverted because the mass deletion was false. Thank you for looking at it. @Hystrix: I agree that File:XXXTentacion-selfie.png is probably laundered, but not by CoughingCookieHeart. Uploading it to Commons seems to be a newbie mistake, worthy of an oppose vote at COM:LRR but not this mass-deletion. I'm frustrated with this because I reviewed many images and found them to be fine, and I had to go through and revert CommonsDelinker by hand for many of them. Fix for template problem
