English: Bancroft Hall is the dormitory for the entire brigade of 4,000 midshipmen. A small city in a single building, it contains all the facilities required for residence. The dormitory is roughly H-shaped. The center of the H is the Rotunda area. The sides contain Wings 1-8 arranged in opposing pairs of 4. There are five stories, termed "Decks 0-4." The number of wings has increased over the decades with expansion of the Academy.
