Commons:Requests and votes/Keilana
- Support = 8; Oppose = 7; Neutral = 2 - 53% support if you don't count neutral votes, a bit less if you do... In any case, it's clear that the Commons community is not agreeing just yet to grant Keilana sysop tools, so this request is closed as unsuccessful. Patrícia msg 14:55, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Links for Keilana: Keilana (talk · contributions · deleted user contributions · recent activity · logs · block log · global contribs · CentralAuth) I've been active on Commons since January, starting with uploading some of my photos. I've lately taken to Flickr reviewing, thus helping to swamp the admins with copyvios to delete. I've been an admin on English Wikipedia for a few months now, and I think I could help with the deletion backlog and deleting copyvios over here; there is a lot of work to be done. Thanks for your consideration. Regards, Keilana 08:28, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

- Oppose I'm sure you will make a great admin here in time but with less than 250 contributions you are noticeably below my acceptable minimum. Stick around & do some more though please, thanks --Herby talk thyme 09:16, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose Yes, agree with Herby. Sorry. Need to see some more contribs, especially in this area. Sorry. Rocket000 09:20, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

- Oppose Some more experience in the Commons namespace, like participating in deletion requests, would be great. Will likely be an excellent addition in the future 哦,是吗?(висчвын) 23:02, 30 March 2008 (GMT)
- Neutral - good admin on enwiki, but not enough experience of Commons policy and process. WjBscribe 00:21, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

- Support - perhaps a bit premature, but I trust Keilana, and her judgement, so that's a very important factor. --- Anonymous DissidentTalk 07:50, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose — I definitely need to see more participation in deletion discussions to trust you here. Sorry. --Boricuæddie 13:08, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Comments
I'm heavily biased in this RfA because 1) Keilana is a close wiki-friend of mine, 2) My RfA was in a kinda-similar position (at least on edit count), 3) If this was some random user I would oppose. Instead, I'll leave some comments here that I won't regret as much as opposing (a totally unrelated and trying-to-AGF comment...some explanation of the logic behind some of the supports would be nice!).
Anyways, User:Giggy/Keilana deleted is one of the main reasons I can't support yet. She just needs more experience. For instance, passing the Flickr review for Image:Resident evil 4 box.jpg (title indicates a clear copyvio is a concern). This, combined with virtually no deletion requests work (per Rocket) are my main areas of concern.
Please try again in a month, or two, or whatever...talk to some of the opposers and see what they think. I'm sure Keilana will make a great admin, just not yet, I think. Feel free to reply to this with your thoughts, anyone (btw.). Cheers, giggy (:O) 08:48, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comments, I understand where you're coming from. I am human, and do screw up, but that's definitely an issue. I'll try to be more careful about that kind of thing in the future. I'll also try to get involved in deletion requests as well, I appreciate the pointers and advice. Regards, Keilana 12:26, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
