Info All by A.Savin. The image shows the most prominent part of the University Embankment (with some historical buildings of the Spb State University) in Saint Petersburg, Russia, as seen from the St. Isaac's Cathedral, during a changeable weather. Barely not enough participants in the previous FPC - however, I still find the overall atmosphere nice and dramatic, so I'm going to try again.

Question Not happy with the "cut" buildings on left and right. Just noticed at least one building is being "cut" on all versions. May be a stitched version possible? J Kadavoor J e e 16:42, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comment I'm as much a fan of high-resolution stitched panoramas as the next person, but the lighting and weather conditions here are special and (I assume) not easily repeated. A vertical crop 1550px down from the top removes the distracting foreground and creates an interesting panoramic image imo, even if it isn't super high resolution.
