  •   Question What's the blue and green circle? PumpkinSky 23:55, 22 August 2017 (UTC) I can't recall the name, hopefully someone can help me out. Usually something like that ruins a shot but personally I think it works in this. Sixflashphoto 05:17 23 August 2017 (UTC)
  •   Comment Is it a "lens flare"?--Peulle 09:11, 23 August 2017 (UTC) I didn't think so, it's like prism refraction Sixflashphoto 14:18, 23 August 2017 (UTC).
  • Sending to CR for more discussion. PumpkinSky 13:50, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
  •   Oppose, as it is now. Lens flares, however cool, have no place in astronomical photos here since they can be mistaken for astral bodies/phenomenon. The file's name should also be improved. I know that this stage of the eclipse is called "Diamond ring" but you should add something realated to the eclipse like "Diamond Ring stage of solar eclipse" so this won't show up in all the seaches for some bling-bling rings. --W.carter 08:18, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
