Reason | Contrary to popular belief, the "deliberate deformation" of the skull does not interest only the Incas and the ancient period. This type of deformation was still practiced in the region of Toulouse (France), until the early twentieth century as the show this photograph taken around 1900. It is interesting because it shows the headband deformation still worn by the person. -- Archaeodontosaurus (talk) |
