Reason	Despite being born in 1903, it doesn't appear that Hirshfeld began gaining notoriety until the late 20s or early 30s, and saw his fame peak in the late 20th century. So there appear to be few free images of him available. This is one of a growing set of photos uploaded by User:Surtsicna in coordination with the photographer. It's high quality, with good focus and composition, and is overall very humanizing for the subject in a way that just makes you wanna give him a hug. -- GMG ^talk
