Question What do you mean with "gallery and taxonavigation in it", could you please explain or give an example, I dont know, how to do it. The specimen is categorized as species, the species as genus, the genus as family, and so on. Or, to say it with other words: In the moment we have in the Turridae besides other genera the genus Clavatula with only one picture and species, Clavatula carinifera. --Llez (talk) 16:50, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It is a pet programme of Archaeodontosaurus and I quite agree with the concept. E.g. Commons:Valued_image_candidates/Pilumnus_hirtellus.jpg, where the taxonomy is in the gallery text at Pilumnus hirtellus. If one does a search, and the gallery exists, one will be directed straight to the gallery, bypassing any category structure (try it!). That's what galleries are for, to give that extra bit of info for a selection of images. Categories, are just a way of arranging and structuring the images. The VICbot will also automatically tag a VI in the relevant category (e.g. here at Solea solea). W.S.18:13, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
