Comment Thanks. I met the couple who live here two years ago, and they are not at all friendly. They are older, i.e. my sort of age, so I guess retired and don't drive to work, only going out during the day for their shopping. This is right out in the country 11 miles from where I live and it takes a bus, a train and a long walk from the station to get here. So I'm not just going to "pop by" on the off chance. I'm certainly not going to negotiate a muddy, windy, rainy field and skulk behind a windbreak of trees for hours until they move that car. Having said that, cars are an occupational hazard for VI/QI noms. There is one address on Rodney Street, Liverpool that had an ambulance parked right in front of it for ten months, but eventually it was moved and I was able to get the photo. I started counting through my VIs and found 25 with cars partially obscuring the subject, but I gave up counting about 1/3 into the 1600, so clearly it's not fatal to a VI. Not your fault, I know, but I do despair of reviewers who carp about that cars in blase way, and to them I say, "you come here and do better. I do what I can." Thanks. Absolutely not, Agnes. It's people with unreasonable expectations of me that are offensive. Rodhullandemu (talk) 19:25, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
