Comment It would be appropriate, this being a collection, to mention all other version with each image on the image description page. Lycaon (talk) 07:02, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm. Yes and no. It is nice if it is there in the other_version field of {{Information}}, but it also means copying a lot of redundant information around on individual image pages. If the set gets promoted, all images will (eventually) be tagged by a template {{VIS}}, which will link not only to this nomination, but also to the final promoted valued image set, where all these versions can be seen. I kinda like that approach better as here the image set is only maintained in one place. If it does not get promoted, I still think it is valuable to greate a gallery of such a set, say Image set of a Hardanger fiddle and link to that gallery from each image page in the other_versions field.
Support I think it is a valued set of images, which in combination gives a good impression about all important visible details of a Hardanger fiddle. The lightning could be better, the background is distracting in several images, and the composition in some of the images have point-and-shoot character. So, it could certainly be done better, but it is still a valuable addition to Commons as a set, and VIC is not a beauty contest. Thus, I can support that it is promoted as such. -- Slaunger (talk) 22:55, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
