Comment To my knowledge, Mauritius is only a country and the saint is St. Maurice. Search results back that up. I'd suggest changing the spelling of the name here and also in the Commons category. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:17, 1 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Ikan, your questions and your criticism are gradually turning into chicane. Saint Maurice is called Sankt Mauritius or St. Mauritius in Germany and the church dedicated to him in the German town Mülheim-Kärlich also bears this German-speaking name. Recently I was taught that the German titles of works of art should not be translated into English and I don't understand that this church suddenly should be different. Further I don't understand what you think to have found in your internet research about the name. regards -- Spurzem (talk) 22:15, 1 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Ikan Kekek: Do you intend to kick me out of VP just like I was deprived of the desire for QI? It is ridiculous when you doubt the correctness of the German abbreviation "St." to declare this photo worthless. -- Spurzem (talk) 07:42, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You are a great contributor to Commons and to VIC, but I probably will ignore your nominations from now on, and you can get your votes from others, because I don't need this kind of abuse in my life when all I'm doing is attempting a discussion. I'd like to say I'm sorry I offended you so much, because it certainly pains me to be the occasion for so much bitterness, but you've never been reasonable. I remember when you posted an intemperate attack on my user talk page because I opposed one of your nominations, but you never appreciated the fact that I defended your nomination of a photo of a car at FPC that failed in spite of my defense, so go enjoy your life and ignore me from now on. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:35, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
