Comment We may not like the treatment of the background, we can say in a comment. We can not vote negatively for that. This vote is contrary to the recommendations of VI. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 06:23, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@PetarM: To my knowledge, VI is not only about the photographic quality of a picture, but also about the rarity value. But can you show me a similar photo of a NSU consul in the side view in the Commons? You may be sure that the background in my shot disturbed very much, otherwise I would not have retouched it. Obviously I have not the original anymore to show it to you. - Lothar Spurzem (talk) 12:09, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I may not be able to vote against because of the VI rules, but it is very poor quality processing - you should always keep the original! Charles (talk) 14:54, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Support While I agree that the manipulation of the background is a negative which will certainly ensure that this image can never pass at QIC, it meets the criteria for illustrative purposes; it's a good image to have in web articles to be viewed at small size.--Peulle (talk) 16:59, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
