Scope Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope:
Coins of Hadrianus
Used in Global usage
Reason A sestertius of roman emperor Hadrianus (ca. 125 CE). Two sides of the same coin. Name and profile of the Emperor, and letters "SC", with seated Rome holding Victory and cornucopia very visible. Far much better resolution than others. Brass (usual metal for sestertius). Own collection, no geocode. -- Jebulon (talk)

Comment Isn't the VIS a better solution for this scope? There are some more images that enrich the idea. These for instance: 1, 2. --MrPanyGoff 11:14, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Only problems need solution. The scope is large, but among the coins of Emperor Hadrianus, i think that this one is the most representative, especially due to the size and the resolution of the picture. Maybe we need subscope for aurei, sestertii, denarii or others, I could agree with this idea. For a valuable MVR, we need a sample of each coin used under the reign of Hadrianus, in the same size if possible. I think we have not.--Jebulon (talk) 16:18, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
