Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) és un concurs fotogràfic públic sobre monuments del patrimoni cultural, organitzat per capítols i grups de Wikimedia. El 2010 es va organitzar als Països Baixos, i va seguir una edició 2011 a nivell europeu. Des del 2012, la competició s'organitza anualment a països d'arreu del món! Aquest és el concurs de fotografia més gran del món i esperem poder comptar de nou amb una participació massiva enguany.
L'objectiu del concurs és demanar al públic en general —lectors i usuaris de la Viquipèdia, fotògrafs, aficionats, etc.— que faci fotos de monuments del patrimoni cultural i les pengi a Wikimedia Commons per utilitzar-les a la Viquipèdia i altres projectes de Wikimedia.
The aim of the contest is to ask the general public —readers and users of Wikipedia, photographers, hobbyists, etc.— to take pictures of cultural heritage monuments and upload them to Wikimedia Commons for use on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects.
- About this report
The Wiki Loves Monuments international team had this research conducted from the funding within the 2021-2022 grant from the Wikimedia Foundation. The researcher worked from October 2021 - August 2022 and interviewed representatives of more than 20 national teams, with longer and shorter participation in the annual photo competition.
