"Old Tang, our favorite boatman, on whose small boat OTL [Oliver Tracy Logan] installed a Waterman outboard motor and went to meet the 2 older children on the last leg of their 1500 mile, two-week-long trip home from school in Chefoo, North China."; Captions for this set of lantern slides from the papers of Oliver and Jennie Logan, American Presbyterian missionaries in Hunan, were provided by their daughter Elsa.
