Description |
English: A copper-alloy object which may be a Roman ear-ring. The piece is very simple in form, consisting of a wire ring which is circular in section, has a maximum diameter of 3.2mm, and tapers to a point at either end. There does not appear to be any surface decoration and the object is bent and slightly corroded. The ear-ring as a whole has a diameter of approximately 19.2mm and weighs 2.37g. |
