Latviešu: DR1A-246 Inčukalna stacijā
Русский: С завода поступил в депо Засулаукс Прибалтийской ж.д.
В апреле 1998 года прошёл КРП на ООО RPM-RRA с установкой дизеля MTU 8V396TC14 (4-тактный V-образный 8-цилиндровый, 745 кВт) и гидропередачи Voith L520rzU2
Вагоны 04 и 06 переделаны в головные
Дизель-поезд был разделён на 2 состава по 3 вагона.
ДР1А-246.1-246.2-246.6R
ДР1А-246.3-246.8-246.4R
02.09.2009 на перегоне Ливани — Трепе 326 км. 2 пк. поездом №609М Даугавпилс — Рига этот дизель-поезд столкнулся с экскаватором на переезде, погибла молодая девушка пассажирка.
Вагоны 246.1 и 246.2 были разбиты и списаны. Порезаны в октябре 2010 года
Вагон ДР1А-246.6 получил незначительные повреждения, был отставлен на базу запаса Засулаукс до прохождения ремонта.
Прошёл капитальный ремонт в депо Засулаукс 09.2015
